Ok so i got Powder out of his viv this morning and noticed that he has some very slight yellow lines down his sides from his head to about 1/3 of the way down his body and also so yellow outlines around his spots.

I was wondering if snakes can become jaundice I don't know enough about their biology to know wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. Unfortunately I dont have a camera capable of picking up the discolouration and I know that their colours can change as they grow up overtime. He's a late 08 Snow and should be due to go in blue any day now.

Is this worth a trip to the vets or is it something harmless???
 
Look at this snake: http://tinyurl.com/dj83uy He's a bloodred snow. He was a gorgeous pale pink when I got him, thus the name Pepper, as in peppermint ice cream. Very quickly, he began to develop yellow, and now he has a ton of yellow! So yes, your snake is just developing yellow pigmentation as expected. You can also really see it on aneries.

(BTW the black flecks on Pepper aren't mites, they are from his swim in the water garden).
