"JUJUBE" (AMEL 04-09-2011)

Well I did it again...stopped into our LPS (not PS or PC) just to 'get a feel' for a mid-sized snake, lol. He's got such a good nature about him and after probing him and checking his mouth and respiration (and letting the Mister fall in 'serious like' with this guy), we cut a deal with the MGR and now he's ours! He weighed in at 231 grams and is approximately 38" long. Sold to us as an "Amel". He's got strong colors and some really good yellows, and red eyes and pupils. I think he's a normal amel, but if you think something different, let me know.

EDIT: 04-10-2011 His new name is "Jujube".

Getting a bit of refreshment...

He's got very sporadic pale yellow belly checks...

His head pattern has a slight break in it and kind of looks like a backwards "C"...

JuJube is getting more comfortable in his new surroundings. The other night though, I caught him checking for potential escape routes. But when he realized it was a no-go, he settled on drinking some water.
