Hello. I have 4 corn snakes so far. Only 2 of them r ready to breed. 1 female Amelanistic , roughly 42 inches long, bout 3 years of age. 1 male normal, 30 inches long, 1 and 3 quarters a year old. the other 2 are to young. But I was wondering I had the 2 bigger ones out playing with one another a couple days ago and they ended up on the cushion next to me, like normal, But this time I cought them wraped up around one another. Nothing was happening, took them apart and put them in their cages and sat back down, they were so active and still looking and one another for house after. Just wondering if they are wanting to mate or is it just something that happens?

Well, snakes don't "play" with each other. In nature they only come together to mate, and tend to lack social skills.
I would guess that either your snakes were trying to dominate each other, or they were mating.
If they were mating and the female is too small, she might not be able to handle laying her eggs safely and could die...

well the female is Like 2-3 times the size of fluffy, I mean like in girth she is big around and of course the longest one I have right now. when you say dominating each other what excatly does that mean?is it good or bad? But nah he didnt get her I took them apart before that. Lol. But thanks for you help!!!

well you need to get yourself a digital scale. This way you can actually find out for yourself. A snake can start breeding at a good healthy weight of 300 grams.

Or any other words, the snake at 300 grams should not have any problems in laying eggs.
