Just curious

Im pretty sure

All snakes can swim. At least thats what Steve Irwin says!!
That guys the best!!! I watch the show for the snakes but man, he dont
even have to find snakes I get entertained just in the way he talks "Your Arright mate" heheheh.

Anyways back to the topic at hand, yes corn snakes can swim and they're real good at it too. Mine was a little squimish at first but now he enjoys bath time.:D

Mine swims in the bathroom sink. I plug up the drain and fill it up a couple of inches with warm water. Unfortunately he hates it and tries to get out but sometimes he really does need a bath (around shedding time) for the moisture. I don't know if they float since i always make sure it's shallow enough for him to be able to touch the bottom.

My snake loves to swim. His water bowl is large enough for him to get into and swim around in circles. I never actually have to give him baths because he does it himself. One time he even spent the whole night in his water bowl! :) It was pretty cute.
