I'm new here been researching and getting things gathered to get my first ever snake.

Finally decided to get one today since it's father's day.

Being told it's a male and he was hatched August 2011.

Super excited and can't wait to enjoy him with my kids. Still need to decide on a name though.

Hello and welcome. Looks like a very nice snow. Congrats on your new addition and Happy Father's Day.

Thanks :) got it from a local guy here in Ohio. He had a pretty nice setup and said he's been breeding for about 2 years now.

I've got him in a larger tub for right now till the wife goes to work tonight and me and the kids can setup the tank and get him in there..

The breeder I got him from said he would feed him on sunday, and wednesday nights 1 extra small pinky each time.

Should I keep up with that routine till I move him up to the next size of mice or?

Wife left for work so we began setting up the tank. While we cleaned it up and got it all setup in the kids room we went ahead and fed him. He took it like a champ barely got the tongs with the pinky in front of him and he grabbed it right away and started to take it down.

Nice! As a side note, only Contributors can edit their posts, it's one of several perks you get with it.

Welcome, and what a sweet little snakey snake. I'm new here, too. We have a couple larger ones we snagged off of Craigslist with good luck, their types are in my siggy. WELCOME! Happy Father's Day.

My step-son in-law got a ball python today for Father's Day! Snakes are popular Father's Day gifts! ROCK ON!

I'll have to grab his name when I get home I'm at work currently. Found him through the akron/canton Craigslist.

His setup is really nice and everything is clean ect. He was very pleasant to deal with.
