ok I dont know where to post this so I hopw I have it right.
I am very confused about my babies (I say baby but hes almost 2) belly
It been like this for awhile and thoght it was normal but after seeing many pics of other corns I dont notice this.
Ok so when im refering to is on his belly he has the checkered pattern but then his normal pattern wraps around...
his underside looks like... | | <belly scales in here> | | and then 2 parts to the side are his normal pattern wrapped around? Am I making sence? He pretty much looks really fat but I dont now how:p
hes always been very very chubby and ive never over hed him and even as a baby I fed him a little less then normal...always waited a couple extra days to feed him and I kept to the munson feeding plan....hes just fat?:p lol anyways is this normal ok? I dont know whats going on ... heres a picture

thats the best representation I can find...its a lto more prominent further down where he's bigger

I want to restate that I kept to the munso feeding plan but always fed way less often because hes always been bigger. They breeder I got him from said he ate more mice then the others from his clutch when I got him and was the biggest of them. He has no fatty deposits or anything and he has great muscle ton, he climbs alot in his viv with lots for him to climb on and I give him baths for excersice regularily to eep his weight in check but he is still very big

I honestly can't tell from that picture, does he look like he has "hips" down by his tail?

I can't see what you mean either. Can you take another picture of the area that looks abnormal to you?

pretty mch everything you are seeing is his underside that he slithers around on :p which ncludes the orange parts of his pattern ....

ok here let me try again, the part I circled is what he 'stands' on ... I know it looks liek because of the angle you are seeing his side but his checks are not growing or anything and instead he plumped out thats what his belly looks like...? what i cirlced is what he belly is like

I agree. He's a bigger snake, so he's probably more calm than youngsters. Take him out once or twice every day for around 15 minutes and let him crawl around on you. If he starts to get comfortable with it after a few days, go out into the living room with him and let him try exploring that (assuming you don't have any hungry dogs or cats).
