I do not have a corn snake yet but thinking whats the best cage with out paying alot $$ :shrugs:

Well, if you get a hatchling you could get one of those Critter Keepers, the long and low design. That would, depending on the size you got possibly hold it for a year. But as an adult, a single corn will need a 20 gallon long tank. You can get just the glass tank and a screen lid at a pet store for around $40.00. Give or take a few dollars depending on where you live. Naturally, that doesn't include bedding (which can be as simple as paper towels), a water dish, at least two hides, heat, and any other decorative items you wished to put in the cage. Honestly, like most other things it can be as expensive as you want it to be. Just hunt around for the best deals.

Also, local reptile shows can be a great way to find nice deals. At the last one I was at I saw a 20 gal. long tank for $20.00 without the lid. With the lid it was I believe $28.00. Which is a rather good deal.

If you have any more questions the people here are awesome, and the search function is great. :)
