The last time my I saw my cornsnake let loose was on January 20th. (ten days ago.) Last meal was 2 small prekilled hoppers. Store had nothing bigger. She is 26 inches long, about 9 months old. She will normally poo 4-5 days after eatting. I feed her on Saturdays but have been planning to switch her to a ten day schedule soon anyway so when Sunday rolled around and I couldn't find a poo, I decided to wait. Today I decided was long enough. I took her out and she was a little thick. Even at her vent so I did not think she had gone. I took a small tupperware container and added bottled water at a suitable temperature. I held her over this so her tail was submerged. Nothing. I have had luck in the past with this. Perhaps I was wrong and she had hid her poo. For the first time ever, she has been tunnelling. I emptied her viv. I did a complete change out on the 20th so anything would be good. Nothing. No black, no stuck aspen clumps. I found a bigger (more spacious. around a gallon) plastic container not suitable for food and cleaned it out and added bottled water at about 80 degrees + snake. This container had a top which I put on. She was calm for the first minute and then decided she had had enough so started trying to escape. She didnt freak, she just put her neck on one end and her tail on the other and applied pressure. The top didnt give but her tail was not underwater which was the entire reason for her to be in there. I decided I would hold her so I could help her tail stay submerged. As soon as I opened the top, her tail which she was putting pressure on popped out and over the side of the container and she pooed all over my bathroom rug. :crying:
