Anyone keep these guys or have any experience with them at all?
Do you know where I could acquire one? I hear they get huge and are mean as heck. I know they come from Asia and are often confused with King Cobras. Sound interesting.

Thanks. Thats actually where I first found out about them.
I registered so I could ask about them, and because I have recently become absolutely fascinated with "hots", but I'm still waiting for a confirmation e-mail so I can't do anything.:crying:
I like big colubrids, and for some reason I like 'em "mean", and since I plan on eventually keeping hots, I figure learning to work with what seems to be the closest "non-venomous",but still "venomous", snake to the King Cobra imaginable would offer some valuable experience.
Very true, but working with something that behaves closely to a particular hot can be helpful. For example, lets say you work with something that behaves very similarly to a cobra, while it would by no means make you absolutley prepared for the real deal, it would give you some experience with "not-handling" a snake that wants to "kill you" and it reminds you that every time you get bit by the "practice" snake, that you could very well die if it were the real thing. If you learn how to "safely" handle something like that, you will be slightly better equipped to handle something that can do some real. But I don't plan on keeping hots any time soon. I just thought these guys would be interesting to interact with, the handling skills being a bonus.
