Keeping 2 Corns side by side

Ok I got this plan th build a new rack. It would involve to snakes with living spaces next to each other, I was thinking of divding them with glass or should I use a non-transparent material to dived them so they don't see each other.

So basically what I am asking is I'm taking what amounts to a 50 gallon tank and dividing it into two separate parts, now should I Glass/Plexi-Glass or a non transparent material to divide them?

Wouldn't it be easier just from the DIY point of view to use something other than glass. It would be hard work to cut and fix it exact unless you are a pro.

If you prefer transparent glass for aesthetics, go ahead and use it. It won't hurt your corn to see his neighbour any more than it does for him to see you walking around.

My Texas rat and my kingsnake hate being together. The king is only 7 months and the rat snake is over three years. My ratsnake is scared of her! LOL My corns however are fine together. Do what you think is best but I think your corns will be OK with seeing eachother. Good luck!

Snap! When I said they hate being together I didn't mean I house them in the same Viv! Wow that would have looked bad! :grin01: They have always been in separate tanks...they just used to be able to see eachother until I moved her to a different place!

I've had a 50 gal and a 40 gal divided with clear plexi for a couple years now and the snakes could care less.
