keeping boa & python...

Hi, is it true that you should not keep boa & python in the same room? I've read before that boa can be a carrier of ibd without doing any harm on them, do anyone here keep pythons & boa at the same room? Thanks in advance :)

What you are saying is true....
Obviously not all animals are IBD carriers, but it also stays well hidden, so separate rooms and hygiene protocols need to be observed.....

if you properly qt the animals then its fine to keep them together in the same room. We have all our snakes in the same room- that includes 4 boas, 5 ball pythons and a bunch of corns....

I also keep boas and pythons in the same room. I always quarantine any new animals for at least 3 months and usually 6 depending upon who I buy them from. Boas and pythons should definitely go in the 6 month quarantine. Separate room, separate feeding utensils and fed/handled last.
