Kenya's (eggbound video girl) babies

Here are the two babies from Kenya's clutch that hatched. This was the girl from the egg aspiration video. She had managed to lay four eggs before binding, but two went bad during incubation. They are het candy cane x candy cane babies. Didn't hit on a candy cane, but I'm happy these two are healthy. They shed and fed, so here they are. Not the best photos. Didn't want to bother them much.

Isn't candy cane a selectively bred trait of amelanism? Does the heterozygous trait maintain the high-white-ness?

Yes, and some have used miami to get the nice white background color. The mother has very little ground color compared to regular het amels.

The parents are from Don S. I am not sure if his are selectively bred amels or if they have miami in them. I'll try to contact him and ask.

They are pretty babies. I am so sorry that the other ones went bad that sucks.
