Kinda funny story from Petco

A friend of mine works at Petco. He told they had a problem with diapering Anoles. They kept them on the other side of the divider from the baby Corns. This went on for a couple of weeks, until they found a baby Corn in the Anole side. They have moved them apart now. I just found it funny, that would be like putting next to a room full of freshly grilled steaks.

I think you mean "disappearing anoles", not diapering. I got a good laugh out of that typo, as well as the idea of corns getting a free meal!

LOl I couldn't make sense of that at first!! I was trying to figure out why someone would be putting diapers on anoles!!!

I didn't even notice the typo until Dionythicus pointed it out. What a cute thought, though! Cute little anoles with itty bitty little diapers on them!

Hm... I wonder if they had any trouble with the snakes accepting mice after that little incident? -shrug-

I really laughed at this, because when I was a kid, my best friend and I had a small anole colony just above my dad worm bed. We used to catch them and play with them like little families, we actually made them paper towel cut out diapers and taped them on! LOLSo yes anoles CAN be diapered, but I wouldn't reccomend it!

Oh my gracious goodness! That's the best smile I've had all day! I guess figuring out who was honestly envisioning pet store personnel being frustrated by their difficulties in getting the little lizards' diapers on correctly makes for a great test of gullibility! Yeah, include me in that list.

GREAT anecdote - any way it's typed!

Haha! You can include me, too!
