Komodo habitat thermostat

Need more Corns
I have just got this thermostat and i can't seem to get it working. I have set the heat mat up, put the probe in the viv, plugged the heat mat in and then plugged the thermostat in, and the light flashes on the thermostat but then goes straight off. Anybody have any ideas what to do/try in order for it to work?

Here is the thermostat if you need it

Thanks Spud

Have you tried turning the dial up, it may be set at a lower temperature than the room is at at the moment?

What temperature is your thermometer reading, when you place it next to the thermostat probe?

Thats the thing, the light to show the thermostat is on, isn't lighting up which is why i was wondering if anybody could help. I have left the heat mat plugged into the thermostat for over an hour to see if it comes on but nothing has happened. The only time the light comes on is when i plug it in and then take it out, but that is only a flash.

Sometimes it's the simple things that are hard to figure out and we've all been there! ;)

Glad it's working for you now, just use the thermometer to set the temperature, i.e. once it reads the correct temp on the thermometer, tweak the dial on the thermostat so the light goes off, if it drops too low, then tweak it up a little :) (thermostat dials are not always spot on)
