Konani - TS Ultramel

Susan

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
He is a birthday present from Dave Partington, a TS ultramel het diffuse anery motley, and I absolutely adore him! His name means "bright" in Hawaiian and he sure is that! These photos were taken in the later afternoon after raining most of the day on and off. I have many more yet to resize, etc, but I used the flash on most and it washes his color out a bit. These were taken without the flash and are more true-to-life.

Beautiful pics of a beautiful snake :). Did Dave tell you what/who the parents were?

He gave me a little note saying it came from Chuck Pritzel and he gave an ACR#. I researched it and the number was one off, that of a littermate. There was no mistaking which hatchling was Konani. Here is a link to his ACR info where the parentage is listed: ACR #7087. I'm really looking forward to breeding him next year. I'm seriously considering pairing him with Thelma, my ultramel anery motley het stripe (pictured below) to try to get some more of that wonderful TS coloration in the offspring!
