Laid 1 egg but more to come...

My corn snake has laid only one egg but there are more inside her, last year she laid them altogether which im guessing they are meant to do.

Has anyone else experienced this? Im just worried there is something wrong?

Thanks

It can be normal for some. Does the first egg look fertile? Sometimes they "clear out" infertile eggs before laying the main clutch.

Look out for abnormal bulging around her cloaca, as this could be one symptom of eggbinding.

However, your best bet now is to leave her absolutely in peace to settle undisturbed in her laying box.

I hate this bit - I currently have two heavily gravid females still circling their vivs and treating their laying boxes as though they were invisible. Argh! To think I wasn't planning to breed this year... Why do I do this to myself??

Good luck...

Ah im glad its normal, she does seem fine, she is more active though, keeps circling the viv as you said yours are.

Ill leave her too it and see what happens, thanks for your help and good luck :)
