I suddenly realized that I haven't posted my own thread in almost three months, so I figured it was time for a little update! Given that my collection in Kingston is half of what I have back in Pennsylvania, I can't provide updates on everyone, but I figured I might as well at least try to get my new ones in here! So here they are:

2009 1.0 Lavender Stripe het. Amel - Aaron (VMS)

2009 0.1 Lavender het Motley 50% Hypo, Amel - Pandora (VMS)

Unfortunately within the past few months (since I got back to school) I've lost a few of my snakes... My little 2010 ultramel lavender Cassius died rather suddenly after a spontaneous loss of appetite, and my sweet 2008 lavender het. bloodred Jasper passed after coming down with a mysterious illness which I fear, due to his symptoms, to have been cryptosporidiosis. As well, two of my 2009 normal hatchlings I left back at home managed to escape and have yet to be found. With a collection of 30 snakes all of this is bound to happen, but it's upsetting nonetheless.

But having said that, I do still have several snakes remaining that are in wonderful health! So here are a few more:

I figured I'd post a few of Langdon (2009 Pewter het. Amel 66% Anery (VMS)) since he seems to be a favorite, so here are some since his most recent shed.

2009 1.0 Ghost het. Stripe 66% Caramel 50% Amel - Orion (VMS)

2008 1.0 Bloodred - Lestadt (He always seems to glow in photos...)

2008 1.0 Snow - Fuji (A little blurry, I apologize, I'm trying to get better ones!)

So that's all for now, but I'm trying to get some recent pictures of the rest so hopefully there will be more to come soon!

Thanks for looking!

YES, I LOVE Langdon!!! He's so awesome. My VMS Pewter just shed and I am LOVING his look. His pattern isn't as crazy as Langdon's, but his saddles are starting to get lighter than his base tone, and I can definitely handle that!

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. Even though we can be mentally prepared for stuff like that to happen it's still hard to take when it actually does happen. It looks like the rest of your collection is doing really well though!

I really love the pictures of Aaron. I have never thought a Lavender Stripe was so beautiful before!! (no offence to the lavender lovers of this site, I have come a long way in finding this morph appealing..)

Also, Lestat looks amazing as well!!

Thanks guys!

Yeah, Langdon's saddles are pretty much the same color as the background now, it's awesome. And his diffusion is crazy! Have you posted pictures of Oak lately?

As for Aaron, he's pretty awesome. His pattern is almost invisible, which is really interesting. I was also not a huge fan of plain lavenders for a while, but my baby Jasper changed that - he was stunning.

But anyway, here are a few more pictures!

2009 0.1 Stripe het. Hypo 66% Caramel, Anery 50% Amel - Louise (VMS) Sorry there are so many of her, she was just sitting so well! I was also trying to get pictures of her eyes since the pupils have changed shape...

2009 0.1 Ultra Anery Motley - Sabriel (VMS)
PB068583.jpg

2009 0.1 Phantom (ph Diffused???) - Jane (VMS) The diffusion on her sides is getting really awesome, but as far as I know she has no bloodred in her genetics.

Again, thanks for looking! Hopefully more will be coming soon. :)

I took pictures of Oak at some point last week, he was fresh shed. They aren't great because I had to use flash for most of them. They don't do full justice to his beauty. I've been busy with school lately though!

Here is his thread, his most recent pictures are on the last page.

Oak and Langdon have a really similar head pattern!

I often wonder if my Phantom girl is het diffused as well. There's definitely something really cool going on with that clutch! You'd think that Sean would have written in their hets though if they were. Jane looks great! How big is she now? I just weighed Olive before feeding her today and she's up to 56 grams! She's also really close to shedding, which I'm pretty excited about.

I'm glad you posted so many pictures of Louise, she's gorgeous! Those eyes are really pretty crazy too!

Also, from what I can see of Sabriel it looks like she's developing very nicely! I don't generally like yellow on non Caramel morphs, but the combination of yellow and purple is really quite lovely!

Wow! Gorgeous photos and animals! Love the Lavender stripe. I might have to add some Lavender to my collection!

I am jealous of your macro abilities. :D

-^_^- Thanks!!! I'll have to give the credit to my ridiculously awesome macro lens, though. I've been shooting with an Olympus E520 DSLR for the past year or so, but I got a 35 mm macro lens for my birthday this year, so I've been using that a lot. I used to just have a little Sanyo camera, and the macro on that was surprisingly good so I've been missing it!

Jess - I can't wait to breed Jane and Langdon to see if she is in fact het. for blood. It would make some of my future projects go a lot quicker! (I'm really excited to produce some hypo pewters :)) The last time I weighed her was August 6th, and way back then she was just 30.11 g, but she's eaten quite a bit and shed twice since then. I probably won't be able to weigh her again until December. :/

Sabriel was definitely not a morph I ever planned on working with, but when I saw all of them on VMS I knew I had to have one. I love the yellow on the light gray background! I'm hoping she stays this light - I've seen some ultra anery females that ended up looking almost as dark as my regular anery Carla.
