Late start for me 2013

Tara80

ACR Breeder # 787
I didn't think I was going to do any pairings this year due to long work hours; but then our wonderful upper government management.... DIDN'T take action.

We've had quite a bit of work cut, no overtime allowed AND we are probably going to be furloughed.

With all of the extra time, I decided to attempt to fulfill as many of my original breeding plans as the snakes would allow (figuring that I'm probably missing most of the female's ovulation cycles by now).

I've been lucky though and have had a few hook-ups!

Here's what I've got so far:

Honey x a (dark) Cinder (really looking forward to these F2s)

Buckskin Okeetee x Buckskin Okeetee (the female was shy, so I couldn't open the top)

Micro Scale/Micro Pave het amel x Snow Stripe

Neon/Coral Snow x Strawberry ph amel (hopefully we'll get red on red babies from this)

and Honey x Striped Tessera

I should note, the honey is directly from Charles Pritzel and is not a stargazing carrier.
I'm hoping I'll be able to have a few more to follow

That is really a beautiful honey! And your microscale project is exciting! Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks Jarrett!
Honey is one of my most favorite morphs. I love how bright they become as they age.
I think honey tessera will be an amazing combo, if the black on the borders stays.

Lots of snakes are running late this year- I bet you have plenty of fertile clutches!

Thank you!
I sure hope so Nanci. I'm surprised the females are being so receptive; I'm hoping it's a good sign.

I've been putting pairs together since January, and they only started mating last week.

Congrats!!!!!!

I just hope Someone or something tells my girls it's time to get going!!!! :)

For those of you who like those sunkissed ghosts!!!

These guys have hooked up twice!! (picture after the deed was done)

Sunkissed Anery (het hypo) x Sunkissed Silver Queen

He had some really nice babies last year, so we'll see how this goes.

The male of this pair attempted so many times to hook-up and I left them alone for a while as he was having troubles.
He's only a few months shy of 2 years old but was showing interest in his tub so figured I'd give him a chance.

The female is an Ultramel Sunkissed.

The male is a hypo butter het diffused sunkissed

(if you couldn't tell, sunkissed projects are my favorite!!)

Oddly enough, my sunkissed ghost x sunkissed anery pair laid the first eggs.

13 pearly whites from these two!
