That's a TON of color on that critter. I'd be shocked if it was female. Arent the male's supposed to have more color?

This is an 05 girl. She does have good color and I believe it's do to the blood gene, but who knows. I do love the way she looks though. She is freshly shed in the picture as well. Which always helps the color. lol

Thanks for the update. She's looking better (and bigger) than ever.
Ya, she just tipped the scales at 295 grams in that picture. She was my first snake that I dabbled with the Dean diet. As of 8-4-6 she was only 27 grams.

Wow! That's some good growth alright! But she was just waiting to grow, seeing as she's an '05 and was tiny that late in '06. She does have good color. What are your plans for her?

Oh, I forgot to mention a thank you to Joejr for the idea of using a 100 watt reveal bulb for lighting instead of a flash. It really helps to pick up true color, although you still have to play with the amount a bit.

Ya she was my smallest 05 for a long time, thats for sure. Thats one of the reasons I put her on the "Dean Diet". As for my plans for her, I think this year is shot, but I have a nice blood I'd like her to breed to next year. I also picked up a hypo het lav blood from Rich Hume for her. The hypo het lav blood is from Mike P. cotton candy line. So that should be fun.
