Lava clutch Hatching!

Pips on day 70! I am so excited because this small clutch means a lot to me!
This is the result of Okeetee 100% het Lava 50% het Anery x Lava (from original lines) 100% het Anery.
A problem had occurred during the laying of this clutch ... thus, I only have four viable eggs. So far, two have pipped.
One pip is a Lava and I ~think~ the other one could be an Ice but cannot be sure yet (baby needs to poke its nose out a little more). If it is an Ice, it means that, rather than 50% possible, my boy is 100% het Anery.:) Hoping that the second pip really is an Ice!
Cannot wait for them to leave their eggs and for the other two to pip!

Deb Congrats on the pips! I bet you are testing your patientce waiting.
Hope you get what you are hoping for!

Woo!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for an Ice for you! These pictures are way cute, btw.

Thanks.:)

Thanks Tom.:) The father is the Okeetee (Abbott's Okeetee x Lava het Anery) that I got, from you, four years ago. He was a wee little thing, back then, and has grown into a rather nice sized fella.:)

Congrats! Any hatchlings yet???

Thanks.:) Three have pipped but none have left their eggs yet. Anticipation is killing me.LoL

Squeeze the egg just a little bit!! JUST KIDDING!! Don't you feel like it, though? He _looks_ ice-y to me...

Babies have left their eggs!
Baby #2 almost fooled me, as s/he turned out to not be an Ice after all,... but I got three gorgeous Lavas!
I think the 4th, & last, may be DIE.
Not enough babies to prove out that "Dad" is, or is not, het Anery.
BTW I thought myself so fortunate to even get four good eggs since a problem had occurred during egg formation/development (prior to eggs being laid), etc.
Now I consider myself even more fortunate ... not only for the three Lavas from only four eggs... but because "Mom" had gone on to double clutch (on 07-03-11). I figured they would all be infertile. However, I candled them tonight, and there are 5 that are fertile! Woo-hoooo!:)

Anyway, here are the three babies, in order, from #1 thru #3:

Congrats on the lavas! I haven't produced any ice from any of the sibs.

Thanks Tom.:) I am simply thrilled with these three! Cannot wait to see what the 5 eggs, from second clutch, produce. Bummer about your not producing any Ice from the sibs. Guess it's a fair possibility that I may not end up with any either. Well, if not from dad, the babies will, at least, be 50% het Anery from mom.

Those are stunning, congrats!!

Thanks Tom.:)
