The only pics I can find are of suspected hatchlings. Does anyone have some pics of older ones and maybe an adult? I'd really appreciate it. I have a Snow het lava and I'm wondering if she might actually be a Lava Snow.

What are peoples thoughts about Lava Snows? Do they look different then normal Snows? If so what do they look like?

I have a pinkish snow that is thought to be homozygous lava and snow.
She slugged out on my this year, when bred to an ice. Hopefully next year she will prove out!

Here is a picture of her brought over from my forum.

This gal had been sold to me as a Lava Snow, but this year she was bred to an Ice and it turned out she was a Snow het Lava. Don't know if this helps, but its all I got until I can breed her Ice kids back together and get one for sure.

Very nice snake. Mine is simular but not near as bright and vibrandt. I'm surprised its not a Lava Snow it looks like more then just a Snow. Do you think there is another gene in play here or do you think some Snows are this color? I have little experiance but all the adults I've seen don't have any pink. I'm still learning genetics, can Lava effect a snakes appearance in het form? I've heard people say that about the Hypo and Red factor genes

Sorry , one more question. Is your snake full grown in the picture, she doesn't appear to be.

Yes, its been a long time since I've snapped a shot of her. I'm not sure if there is some pink factor in play. But I'm developing a theory that hets that don't normally show may show when combined with other genetics. IE if a snake is a snow, then it is more likely to show influence from a het.

I wonder if that's true. It would make sense with the Lava since both are snakes are het Lava and look similar. I'm sure most people would disagree tho.
