LEGO hides?

I have a couple of LEGO bricks and I'm thinking about making a hide for Mr. Cuddles. I know it doesn't exactly replicate his natural environment, but I'm sure he'd appreciate having another hide. Has anyone on here done this? How did it work out? Post pics if you have any.

A hide doesnt have to replicate the snakes natural environment. As long as the snake sees it as a place to find refuge and hide, then its fine.
As for the Lego's, I've seen some hides made of them. They dont look bad. And it would be perfectly fine for the snake to use.

Thanks for linking the old threads. I really should use the search function more.

I'll take some pictures once I have the thing set up... I was also thinking about making a "cutaway hide" with a section that is flush with the glass removed so I can see him in the hide... but that would probably take away from the whole idea of making a hide, right?

Who says? Think about it for a minute. In the wild, corns will use old rusted farm equipment, old tires and wheels, discarded buckets and pretty much any human garbage that's left sitting in one spot for a long time, as long as they can hide in it and feel secure. I bet if you made that lego hide, and threw it in a spot in Florida or the Carolinas where there are corns in the wild and left it there, you could come back a year later and find a corn in it. In his natural environment.
Go for it!

Your welcome.

If you do that then it could be a third hide that way he has hot and cool hides and if he wants he can go in it.

Have you seen those hides that are like that, but they have a section that attaches (with magnets) on the outside; that way the snake is hidden, but you can remove the piece on the outside of the tank to see the snake inside. Maybe you could make something like that.
