I have seen some picture of corns exploring the house of his owner. Is this a good thing?
I think that the snake have fun in exploring, but, did he try to escape? :sidestep: I dont want to search my snake during 2 or 3 hours in my bedroom because i have let him explore it...
Never put a hatchling down. They are incredibly fast and can be gone in a heartbeat.
It's fine to put an adult corn down so long as you watch them closely and be aware of any gaps they might get lost in (ie: ensure they can't go under floorboards, etc)
i just sit on my PC chair and let her roam my body she usually stays on my body as she knows shes safe there i presume, but i do keep an eye on her in case
For many snakes being loose on the floor can actually be quite stressfull. They are in a new enviroment, they are wide open to predetors, and theres this huge animal towering over them following them. I have seen and read about quite a few docile snakes get very defensive when let loose on the floor. Only do it if the snake is an adult, and that you know it well enough.
I put Kahn on the floor if I'm laying next to him...usually he ends up crawling into my shirt and snuggling up in my bra. LoL. Even tho he hasn't been sexed....I think he's a boy! hahaha.
Kahn also likes to crawl around my neck and arm when I'm on the computer. Sometimes he likes to hide under the house-computer's keyboard (I'm on a laptop.)
I guess you should only let your snake wonder if you know his temperment and stress levels real well. Also watch him!
I lost Kahn in the hood of my hoodie before, LoL. I looked EVERYWHERE around the computer desk for him thinking he fell on the floor...then he nonchalantly poked his head out of my hood! :grin01: :grin01:
Sometimes I'll put Clinton on a tabletop with some objects for him to crawl around on and look at. But he always ends up either shimmying down the table leg or falling on the floor. Keep an eye out. If the snake's head gets inside of something it shouldn't (heat vent, computer monitor, etc.) you might have as little as 0.003 seconds to grab the snake before it's gone.
