I bought a 10 gallon tank for my hatchling corn from a reptile breeder and it came with an ESU mesh top with cilps...well after struggling with that to keep it tight which it never did i bought a four paws screen top that already had clips on it rather than seperate ones. Now the top doesnt move left or right at all but it lifts up about a half an inch!! HOW DO I GET THE TOP TO STAY TIGHT?!?! thanks!

For a good lid for a ten gallon tank, I suggest you check at Wal-mart. They have a lid that is made for hamsters, mice, etc. that actually locks to the lip that is built onto the aquarium. The lid costs around $7.00. The lid does have holes in them to run tubing for the rodents to play in. Make sure that the lids for the holes lock in well. If not, take the whole thing back and get another one. I have only gotten one before that was made wrong and the holes could not be blocked. I honestly wish they made these lids in larger sizes!

If you decide to try this lid, please let me know how it works for you!

I almost forgot, you do have to assemble the locks onto the lid. It is quite easy to do, however.
