Hello all ~

I wanted a spot to share some pictures of my snake Lin, so thought I'd finally make a thread for her.

She is my first snake and I picked her up from a local breeder in OKC in October. She's been an enthusiastic feeder and hasn't struck at all since I've had her. She's had 2 sheds. The first was perfect, the most recent one was pretty messy, but time in a container of moist paper towels fixed her right up. So far she's gained about 5 grams since I brought her home and is currently about 11g and eats about 2 pinkies totaling 3g weekly.

And from tonight. The paper she's on is 8x10.5 inches, but I can't run serpwidgets from my phone so I'm not sure if her current length.

Great pics. I love her name! So sweet. Looks like a great viv. Love the water dish hide. Congrats on your great little snake!
 
Thank you ~ The water dish hide is her favorite. I always find her curled up under it unless she's just eaten. I may have to see if I can find a bigger one when she grows too big for it.

Feeding time, tonight she weighs in at 15g she's more than double the weight she was when I got her in October.

I haven't updated this for a while, but just wanted to pop in and say Lin is still doing awesome and growing! Her orange is really intensifying and where her scales were almost translucent before she's more opaque white. It's so neat to watch her grow up ~

Thanks for the update. It is always good knowing your little one is still doing well! I still think her name is so cute and am glad to hear her colors are "coming in".

Of course when you get a chance a picture is always appreciated :)
 
Thank you, you can really see how much bigger and brighter she is vs my first pictures in the thread, and she's only about 7 months old. I can't wait until she's grown and big, but I'm really enjoying watching her fill out.
