I was wonderign, i am not an owner of a corn snake yet but i ma getting his tank in order and i needed to know if he needs a speacail light of any kind. I have a heating pad and i don't think he will be very cold during the summer so.... Please write back.
 
nope... no special light needed!

Make sure your heating element (pad... kinda iffy on that one) is setup so it does not scorch the animal. Using a mat specifically made for animals is a good idea, also a rheostat so the amount of heat put out is controlled is also needed.
