Lizard invasion

For several years now, my husband has said he did not want to deal with any reptiles that need daily feeding, need to eat crickets, or need to eat plant matter - that pretty much ruled out most lizards. But now over the past few months he seems to have reversed his position. He's been reading and talking about different species of lizards non-stop, and then it happened...

A couple of weeks ago I came home from work, and DH immediately dragged me out to the reptile shop to look at a baby water dragon. I of course fell in love, and so did my 6yo daughter. He now resides in her bedroom, and she named him Buttercup. But it didn't stop there...

DH started talking about tegus. All. The. Time. To everyone! And it just so happened that someone knew someone who needed to rehome a pair of very sweet, tame B&W Argentines. They are now residing in a temporary cage in our bedroom, until their new enclosure is ready on Friday.
