I feed my corns on Tuesday night so would it be ok to hold them on Thursday night. i know it is after 48 hours but i just want to make sure.

Go for it! I only abide by the 48 hour rule with newly acquired animals. Once I know they are comfortable I handle them whenever. Not to downgrade the 48 hr advice, but as you get more experienced with snakes, you can judge when it is or is not a good time to handle them :wavey:

ok thanks mbdorfer. i just held both of them and they seemed to be fine. they didnt have lumps on their stomach so i dont think theres anything to worry about. Both are about to shed.

Yes, the only thing to watch out for during that time is the POOP!

Mine eat in the evenings, and if they are handeled the evening right after the 48 hours is over they always leave a nice little present for us (usually they leave it on jeff, which he is never too happy about). Needless to say, now we always wait until the morning after the 48 hours is over (60 hours?) so that the poop is left in the viv instead of on us. Our snakes are all about staying on schedule though...and maybe your snake's schedule is different than ours' are. :)
