looked ready to shed but never did

7 month old, her eyes looked grey and she looked really dull and not her usual
bright color, 3 days later her eyes are back to normal and she is bright and colorful again.............. but no shed skin to be found ?
is this normal ?

Yep, she'll shed within the week! The skin clears again first.
 
Once she sheds she be very bright! You'll notice that she was brighter than before she even went into the blue.
 
Cool, she shed yesterday. From the nose back approx 6" and another piece from there back to the tip of her tail, what you would call a "clean shed" im guessing.
My wife had plans to take the snake to school on friday of this week as a "show and tell"
for our 8 yr old daughters class, we are now planning to take the skin. Will it stay as it
is until then or will it dry out and crumble to nothing ? We think it would be interesting for the kids to see if we can keep it "as is" until then.
 
They do dry out eventually, but keeping the shed in a sandwich box or similar will help it keep longer. Glad the shed went well!
