It is now official, I have become a sucker for colours!

It all started on Saturday May 20th when I went to see Elrond (future snake then) and I ended up holding most of Blutengel's snakes. When I held Poing; her normal; I fell in love with him, it was the same feeling than when I first held Freya.

A few days later I got Elrond and was sooo happy and exited about having him but also at the same time kept on thinking about Poing and was cursing (not literally) my husband for letting me have only two snakes and not three.

Then Blutengel told me that she was also going to sell Poing and my heart was saying “Noooo, he should be mine, you should not sell him!”

As the roll of the dice had it that Elrond was not taking well to eating f/t which is an issue for me (multiple reasons which are too long to explain) and B knew a couple that wanted an adult male, so, as you might guess, I have sold Elrond. He left home yesterday and I got Poing also yesterday…. YAY!

That photo is when I fell in love with him in May... How could I resist such a handsome fellow?

I know, it is almost like he was dropped in a jar full of curry paste.. lol

Now I have to keep my hands off of him for a few days, that will be so so hard :(

It is true, I have such a good time just looking at them whilst handling them as well as in the viv each I pass it..... it is also a permanent state of mind ;)
 
It still hurts me a bit that he is not mine anymore, since he was 1 of my 2 first snakes, but I know he is in good hand now! And I'm gonna be able to see him maturing and maybe have babies with Freya someday... Being able to sell him to Vanina was part of the reason I choice Poing - Hotei as the one to sell though I feel more emotional about him going then on some others.

Aww, really??? Is it why you chose to sell Poing (Hotei)??
I could not let him be sold to someone else but me, you know me, when I have something in my head, it is not in my pocket :crazy02:

It was easier for me that way to choose one... breeding wise he was the least interesting, but 'emotional' it was not the first choice... being able to sell him to you made the decision easier!
