Making a Lid

I'm getting a corn snake soon, and have the tank I need and all the supplies almost ready. I was going to buy a Zilla lid for my tank, but found out that the dimensions are all wrong and it's not a perfect rectangle, either. I'd rather make my own screen lid than buy a new tank.

Anyone know how?

Hey ekans,

Answer to your question is YES with 2x2s and 1x4s and wire screen and stables.

Love the Fatman

After looking at the lid, I've decided it would be best simply to modify it. It has holes in the plastic, though, for tubes (it was a fish tank) and a rectangular opening at the top. How would I attach mesh to plastic?
