Hey everyone,
Well, Marley has come a long way with my boyfriend and I over the past 4 weeks. She's extremely well tempered, and we've had absolutely no problems with her in regards to feeding or behavior. She's our baby :]
In the past couple of days I've noticed some changes though. Lately, she seems to love soaking in her water dish and I've seen her eyes go from deep black to grayish-blue. I was so excited because I realized this is her first shed! I've been waiting anxiously for it (hoping to catch it in action for pictures). However, this morning I took her out to take a look, and her color is the same as always, and her eyes back to black.
I have to say I'm a little disappointed, but worried more than anything. Is she near her shed or not? Or can blue eyes mean more things than one?
Finally, if it is indeed time for Marley's shed, what can I do to make it go more smoothly? I'd like her first shed with us to be an easy, all in one piece experience.
Any and all advice is appreciated,
Kirstin
