Mello Yello - Striped Butter

Mello Yello is now eleven months old (we've had him since he was ~five months old). He's albino and his color is striped butter, but many have called him motley... I suppose he is a striped motley...

:)

He was only about 14 inches long when we got him. Now he is more like 24 inches long and weighs ~83 g. He is currently feeding on 1 hopper every six days.

Here is a picture when we first got him back in June 2008:

Here he is in June 2008 about to feed on a tiny pinky:

Here he is in August 2008, getting a little bit bigger...

I will post more progress pictures and info as he gets older/bigger...

Lovely snake! That is a butter motley as sure as Santa has a red jacket! Striped animals have only stripes (or cubes), but no dot like spots. Search for striped butter on this forum and you'll see the difference.

You should not say; it is an albino and the color is striped butter. It is a butter motley. Butter motley is a combination of the colors caramel and amelanistic (sometimes called red albino) and the pattern called motley. I hope I have clarified something for you :)
