Miami and Alabama Snakes Wanted

I'm searching for Miami and Alabama snakes. These are two projects I'm researching to start purchasing snakes for in the Spring or Summer.

I would like a pair of each Miami and Alabama as adults to breed and then one hatchling male that is unrelated of each.

If you have any of these available, please email me at [email protected] and provide as much information as possible.

Thank you.

It's generally not as easy to find adults that are not quite as common as these.
Your best bet for the nicest Miami's is Carol Huddleston (LBR).

There's a small handful of people working with Alabama's. I will be pairing my F1 Alabama Tessera male with a WC Alabama female next year, so I will have babies available.

No I've noticed they are pretty rare. I've found a couple old ads that probably are not updated.

I will keep your breeding in mind. I did send a response to your last PM. I thought I had sent it before but I guess it didn't go through.

My pair of LBR line Miami's from Heather are getting the year off (the female anyway) so no Miami's here for 2014. Finding adults is going to be tough, but check with Jamie and Buzz @ twocornypeople dot com. They're working with Alabama line snakes.

We have Alabama hatchlings available during most seasons - we hatched out a clutch of F2 Alabama last week that included normals & tesseras. The pairing was from a normal tessera x F1 Alabama tessera (from NW Heather). We sent our adult female Alabama to her for a breeding loan for next year - we have an adult Alabama male in our collection among others that we use for education programs. You can check out our website (www.twocornypeople.com) or our facebook page also has several pictures of both the new clutch and the Alabama snakes in our collection (www.facebook.com/TwoCornyPeople).

Remember, Alabama is a normal locality morph and is bred for its unique grey and yellow color combinations that develop - the original adults that a few breeders have are obtained from the wild - the numbers are declining in Alabama so wild caught ones are not encouraged. If I were you and wanted an Alabama there are several people on here such as Walter Smith, NWHeather and others that have them and breed them yearly - look for hatchlings in the spring and start from there.

Here is a thread with pictures of them and the breeders who have them.

Thank you for the info. I will probably do that (look for hatchlings next year). I'm finding it's easier to just have the hatchlings and go from there than try to scout out adults.
