Milk snake shedding?

I got my Albino Nelson's milk snake ( gorgeous) last Saturday. I was letting him get used to his tank and settle in and I was planning on feeding his first meal tomorrow. I checked on him Tuesday and all was good and this evening I noticed he's began shedding. You don't feed snakes while they're shedding right? I thought they only shed when they grow from feeding, but I haven't fed him yet...I guess Im a little confused and didn't expect that yet

The Brat said it right. I feed me snakes on schedule no matter what. If they don't want it that is fine but I offer it just the same. Snakes shed periodically as they need to. It really does not pertain to when they were fed last.
