Mising snow corn

well, it would only figure that a snkae would escape on me. Bianca, my baby snow escaped the first night I believe. I searched hell and high water with no luck of course there are about a million small holes in my house the snake could have crawled in.I looked around all the warm spots, the edges of my apartment, curtains, under the other snake s tanks. But I live w/ my dad and hes an architect and has at least a hundred bluprints rolled up all over the place and I went through like 10 of them(not as easy as it sounds) but no luck. I looked cuz its the perfect plce for a snake! If you guys have any suggestions for me on how to find my snake please let me know!

I think there was a whole thread on this under "How many escaped Corns?" I think the consensus was to check in the immediate area, and don't forget to look directly under the tank, or up high in the curtains. One of the people's snakes had ended up in the holder for the blinds. So, I would think to look in the closest areas first.

Do a search and you will find loads of posts with help on this topic.

I live with my dad and he is an architect too, lol.

thats why i'm looking for a corn at least 18months old!

I held a 6-8month old in my local reptile shop and thought it would be far to easy to lose! too fast for me!

Good luck finding it

Matt

Hope you do too!! There have been some that were found after quite a long time, no worse for wear. She'll probably be in the last place you look, that you looked at before......you know what I mean :)

I hope my cat doesn't find her, and I REALLY hope my dad doesn't find her cuz he will have a heart attack......like for real...do you think she might be curled up in my radiator? I think its waaaaay too hot, but maybe? I am gonn continue my search again tonite.......

Search near the cage. I've heard that snakes won't go too far from their cage, usually 6 to 10 feet. Also you can put baking soda between doorways and you'll see a trail if a snake has been there. Don't forget to look in high place, snakes can be good climbers.
