Missing snake

Hi haven't been on the forum for awhile.

when a problem arises who do we turn too :)

My 2 yr old snake went missing late last night - looked at site last night; I've put down bottles with mice, water, hides general look around.

We live in a Victorian Hse with wooden floorboards with gaps. My guess is he's under the floor (with heating pipes).

Advice / views -
What chances of him comming back up from under floorboards ?
Do I do a massive search or wait to spot him ?
Will he hibernate ?
Will he come back to the viv' (based on smell / homing)
% chance of recover ?

Kids are beside themselves

Any support welcome.

Missing loved one

Check for dark warm places that would feel confined to a snake. if you can look under the floor boards do it.

You have my best wishes.

I cant lift every floor board

It appears from reading other threads that its all about lady luck or am I being to pragmatic ???

My guess is your snake will be looking for warmth, (you probably know all this) but, shoes, heaters, clothes, he's probably looking right now, you need to try everything, all get together and look everywere! everything you check is a chance, goodluck finding your little fella, ive read many times about snakes going missing for months and people loosing all hope, but trust me, they seem to always come back when they think they cant live by themself anymore, from what i have read, they know that after a long time without food and maybe water, the only way they can make it, is coming back to were there home is, there castle, there Viv!

Trust me, if he stays alive, he will be back.

big thanks. will keep looking. My daughter is so sad he's missing. She's read your post and is a lot more happy.
