Hi everyone,
I just found out last night that one of my newer baby boas has.......... MITES. She has been treated with the nix and distilled water in a spray bottle method, and is living in a different room. I sprayed just about my entire snake room, including the floor, with the nix solution last night hoping they won't spread to the rest of my collection.
I currently have one gravid female corn snake, who is due for her pre-lay shed any day now.
My question is, heaven forbid she does end up with mites (shudder), is there anything different I should do with the treatment of her, her cage (Rubbermaid tub), and the possible eggs??
Please help!!!!
P.s. I will be changing everyone's bedding to paper towels tomorrow and will be treating all cages at the same time.
