A few days ago I posted about my Orchestra having a bad shed, and she also had a black dot under one of her scales. The replies I got brought up the health issue of mites, so I just kept an eye on her. Well, Im pretty sure it is mites now because they have multiplied to about 7.
Now I am starting to freak out, but have a vet appointment in a couple hours for both my snakes! Lets get this dealt with so that they can go back to being healthy happy snakes!

No, snake mites are species specific. They could technically get on you or your cat, but they couldn't live and feed and reproduce there.
