I bought this little dude for $20 today at a show. He was in with a mix of a gazillion other corn morphs, and the seller had no idea what morph he was, even though he (and I) knew what the other morphs were. But we couldn't figure this one out, so I had to buy it :)

He looks pink in indoor light, and orange outside. Click the links below to view indoor/outdoor/face/and belly shots of him.

Thanks for the help!

He's an amel with a really cool and funky belly pattern. He looks like he's going to end up being a very pale adult.

But he's so pink. I've had amels before, and there were amels in the tank with him, and this guy had that pink tone that none of the other amels had. I know he's got that red eye, but I really think there is something else going on here other than just amel

Also, are those white borders wide enough for this dude to be RO? They look pretty big, but I think they don't fully connect all the way around the "saddle" or spot or whatever, but the little guy is so wiggly it's hard to tell.

Remember that amels range all the way from candycanes to sunglows; there's a huge amount of variety. He'll also gain more color as he ages. I don't think his borders are quite large enough to be an RO; I certainly wouldn't call him such if he was mine.

I love those chair pictures! Super cute baby, hope you start a progression thread for that one : )

Aww, thanks :) I didn't really think he was special enough to warrant having his own thread, but it might be fun ^^

Any snake can have his own thread! I love when people maintain the progression threads, all the babies change so much, it's fun to watch their colors develop : )
