Is it okay to put moss in a young snakes hide? He's two months old and gone blue for the first time.

Yes, that's perfectly fine. I like sphagnum moss. You can get it a wet, wring it out really well, and put it in his hide to make a moist hide.
 
Thanks. He has his moss and the humidity is way up. I have no shed yet the little bugger. But I'm very impatient!
