motley creamsicles

I had 10 baby creams this year, first time for me, and three of them look very motley in patern. Is there a motley cream?? Should I hang on to these and see what becomes of them as they age? Should I ask for more if I sell them?
Any body have any opinion??

A creamsicle mot isn't that big of a deal. Imo, it's nothing bigger than a regular amel motley, which fetches what---$30?

It's a motley if it has a clear belly that is free of checkers.

The motley pattern gene does exist in creamsicle lines, so certainly possible that you produced motleys from cream parents. As Joe says, they are motley if the belly is free of any checkers, but I guess in my opinion motley creams are something special!! I am not sure that you would be able to charge more for them in your area. Here creamsicles go for quite a bit more than amels and motley creams would be about double the creamsicle price - but markets differ.

In my opinion, if you like them - hang onto them!! The motley pattern in the pure orange tones of a nice creamsicle is a spectacular snake when mature - at least I think so. Would be great to see pics if you have any,

Not trying to hijack your thread. Here is a photo of my adult male motley cream, and one of his adult striped daughters.

motley creams

Well,
To a lot of people out here the look of a cream motley is something a little more special then a typical amel motley. To each his own.
Like mentioned earlier..solid white belly would be the quickest indicator.
A few of mine.

motley creams

Thanks for the info... one of the three has a checkered free belly, the others are not. I am keeping the one and selling the others. Just starting to breed corns for money and want to price my snakes to sell.
What I really want is a zig-zag rat snake to sell. This year I got two I will keep for the line. The rest will sell as pets for $15. Not a bad price for a rat snake.
Anybody going to the reptile show in St. Louis next weekend look me up, I'm the one with the tie-dye snake bags.

Thanks agian for the info...

Couldn't have said it any better! Looks like they'll about the same price as bloodreds this year.
