Looks like normal/anery/amel/snow.

Based on the ratio, it looks like it's from anery mot het amel X amel mot het anery.

Or Snow motley X motley het snow.

Am I close? ;)

Serp,

Sunglow motley x pastel motley

This cross was actually testing for hypomelanism. I know the pastel is hypo, but obviously the sunglow is not. I was surprised by the anerys and snows, those I did not expect. So that would make my sunglow motley het for anery and my pastel motley het for amel. Please correct me if I'm wrong! I'm not dissapointed, but I was really looking forward to some Hypo motleys.

no sorry no lav motleys in the bunch, and yes they are for sale however at this time I am not shipping.

Yep, same difference. :) Sunglow motley is a selectively bred variant of Amel motley (maybe with hypo thrown in sometimes), and Pastel Motley is an anery motley plus hypo. So "anery mot het amel X amel mot het anery" was a darn good guess. :D

You got the hets right, too.

And yeah, Hypo mots would have been cool! I've got a pair that can produce them, but I'll never hatch one with them. (Snow het hypo mot X normal het snow and hypo mot... after you take out all the amels, anerys, and snows it produces, that's only a 1 in 64 shot at hypo mots, blegh!)

Oh, and not to throw a wrench in the gears, but with about half the clutch being amel, it's possible that your sunglow motley is het for hypo and it just didn't pop up where you could catch it. ;) How many normals and anerys did you get from that clutch?

I little slow on my reply Serp--but the results are finally in.....

6 snows
2 anerys
5 amels
5 normals

two of the amels have earned the "sunglow" by my standards, but no hypos. This girl double clutched so give me 60 more days and maybe I'll get lucky.

Hehe, yeah you only got 7 normals. It's within reason that you may have indeed gotten hypos, but were just unlucky in their distribution and can't see them amongst the amel/snow half of the clutch. (Or maybe two of them are the sunglows? Who knows at this point.)

Good luck with the second clutch, too. :D
