Got a new critter. Zeus
I have him in an Eco Terra Viv. Running water fountain, Spot light, Vines, bark floor. He ate 4 crickets. Need more information on anything I am missing from his set-up. Tank temps vary from 74 to 100 in different areas of tank. All help appreciated. Thanks

Thought you would enjoy seeing what Zeus looks like and his set-up.

Hey, you know, it's legal in some places, I don't want to be telling you how to set up your cages... No, it looks good. I need to get something in a showy setup sometime.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but in the best interest of the animal, there are several things that you will should fix.

First, the cage is really too small. He will outgrow it in no time, if it's not already too small.

You should probably take away the "spot light", as that's probably what's making it too hot in there and they don't need to bask.

They need really high humidity and the water fountain is great for that. He should also have a pool to swim in, but it should have moving water too so he will notice it. You can also mist him a couple times a day.

The branches and ladder are great too, since they love to climb.

These are just a few details that I noticed right off, but I would encourage you to do some more research to find out all the care information yourself.

Temporary cage. Daughter is in process of building bigger cage. He is almost as big as he will get.

research said they did?

He enjoys his fountain and has a another small water dish.
Will have jacuzzi with moving water in new cage to enjoy.

I am misting cage twice a day.

The branches and ladder are great too, since they love to climb.

Will be in this cage for a few months.
Do you have pictures of tall cage that would be good for him. I would be building his cage sooner but am recuperating from surgery.
