Moving Corn into Different Terrarium?

I started my baby corn out in a 20 gallon (76 litre) long glass aquarium. It's taking up so much room in my place and I'm thinking I'd like to move her into something smaller, probably a Sterilite sweater box type of contraption. What size should I go with? Shoe box seems awfully small for a corn going on 2 feet long. Of course I'll increase the terrarium size as the snake grows and hopefully by the time she's an adult (bought her as a hatchling in May) I'll have a bigger place that will better accommodate the aquarium. I also assume the less transparent walls of a sweater box will allow for a little more privacy. She rarely comes out and if she happens to be out when I'm in the room she heads for a hide. She's a shy one.

I also assume this new home will take some getting used to and I will need to leave her alone for a period as I did when I first brought her home?

Yep, you are right. Treat her like a new arrival and let her settle in for about a week. Some corns are fine with moving into a new tank, but others will stress about it. Better to be safe then sorry.
