Original & Best
Well, I'm not.

But the T-man certainly has. I've just put him in. I placed him in on his original peice of cork bark, so there's one thing he's used to..
I spent £50 today on stuff for the new viv. Very spoilt little snakey.
As he's little, and the viv will freak him out. I went a little hide crazy and he has four in there, his original peice of cork bark, a new big peice o' cork, which is in the middle to give equal hiding space on cool and warm sides. An Exo-Terra snake cave with some warm moist moss in. and an Exo-Terra reptile cave on the cool side..
I only took two really rubbish pics and this time of day the lights not amazing.

In this pic if you look carefully you can see the T-mans little head poking out of the reptile cave..

Great new viv!
Btw, I would be wary of those sliding doors. Very small snakes can easily get through the gap between sliding glass doors.

Been there, one snake did that, got the t-shirt...
I couldnt believe it!

I now have to put a little bit of tape over the gap... grrr

Oh don't worry about the doors, I thoroughly checked any means of escape before I set it up, and again after (I had made some holes bigger for wires etc.) The sliding doors are very close together and Trav's a growing lad, no way he'll get through.

Thats what i thought at first... no way will she get that butt through there but low and behold she found her way into my underwear drawer...

I dont worry so much now cause shes growing rapidly :)

What baffled me was the boa fitting through a tiny hole in a snakebag... the hole was barley a few cm's wide!

For tanks with sliding glass like that, I always put one of those plastic spines you use for filing loose leafe paper up the inner piece of glass.

No chance of escape then.

Also prevents nose rub when trying to escape (cos you KNOW he will!).

:)

Something like these .... these

(I think Staples also do a clear version if you don't like the idea of a black bar up the middle of the viv)

Oo Cheers for that tip

Even though he's like, too big to be able to get his head through, I'll definately consider that for the guaranteed nose-rubbing he'll get up to...

Little update, It was feeding time, I waited all day to feed him as I didn't want to move him on a full stomach, so on his first night I left a mouse in there (in a large plastic tub) and left him to it, and sure enough in the morning it was gone. He's always been a good eater, in blue etc. and Now even when moving! He's only ever kinda refused once, I say 'kinda' because he just took a long time to decide he wanted it.
