Mushroom Ledge

Has anyone used the Zoo Med Mushroom Ledge? It's a shelf about 12" long and 6" wide and is molded to resemble a shelf mushroom. It attaches to the glass with a silicone glue or with velcro tape.

My normal corn Annie spends a lot of her time curled up in the highest branches of the tree limbs in her viv, and I thought that she might like a flat shelf for basking.

Here is a link to it on Amazon-

And here is a link to a video of it at Big Apple Herp-

Thanks for any reviews.

I went ahead and purchased this shelf. It looks pretty good. It comes with acrylic glue to fasten it to the viv, bu I fastened it with velcro tape so that I can remove it for cleaning or repositioning and so that the wire to the temperature probe can go between the shelf and the glass.

It has become Annie's favorite resting place.

The velcro tape holds great so far. I've taken it off a few times to clean it. Annie is still pretty small. She weighs 95 grams.

Nice! I love Velcro tape. I use it for attaching LED light fixtures.

Annie might like a reptile hammock, too. Lots of my climbers like to lounge around on hammocks.

hi all -! i'm new to the site--and i love the ledge--i'm still pretty new to all of this, having "adopted" my son's corn that he NO LONGER WANTED!! soo...would you put this ledge on the warmer side of the tank? thanks!

I'm new to the cornsnake world and site also first off welcome but what I've learned since july is that corns change their mind more than my wife ever dreams of , one day they want up by the night light one day their all on the ground one time one stayed up on a ledge for 3 days never saw him move not once just sit there curled up. If money and space aren't a option I would say stagger 2 of them they look awesome and they are very functional to the snakes put one on the left higher up and one on the right lower down or the other way that's not the point. Good luck with your acquired snake

Oh also there are 2 sizes small and large I don't see much use for the small after about the first year so if your going to spend the money and attach it to your tank thank about going with the large its a great size for a adult corn

thanks-i'll go with the larger ones--since i've been taking care of him i got him a 40 gallon tank w/ all the fixins! he's about 6 yrs.and i'm kind of surprised i like him as much as i do!! i never really wanted to touch him before!

Its great to hear you formed such a quick admiration for your snake don't forget to post pics of that big ass enclosure and of your baby on the site there are separate forums for both and people on here are always complimenting when they see a new pic.
