I am housing my yearling corn in a 40 gal breeder. I have a 20 long that is sitting empty. I would like to get a hatchling redtail boa and put it in the 20. As the boa outgrows the 20 would any problems arise switching the two? Given that I clean the insides thouroughly and replace all substrates. What I am getting at is will the the snakes pick up the scents of the previous? Of course a better idea would be put the boa into the 40 right away. I think that is gonna be too much space for a baby snake.
