Hello again :)

It's the first time I get baby hypos.

I'm pretty sure they are, but I'd just like a confirmation because I wasn't suppose to get hypos in that clutch.

Mother: Hypo motley (no known hets)
Father: Butter het motley (no other know hets)
I figure now that dad was het hypo too.

Out of 14, I got
- only 1 motley (bad odds) :(
- 6 hypos (but one of them is darker)
- 7 pretty dark regulars

Here are the pics

I think you've got a nice load of hatchlings there :D As for the types, I'd agree the last one looks like a motley, but I don't know what a Hypo looks like as a hatchling.

Looks like you have hypos there. Put them side-by-side once they've had their first shed. The most obvious indicator is the quality of the saddle color. In hypo hatchlings it is a tan/orange instead of a maroon/brown. You'll know it when you see it. :)

Also, the motley does not look hypo to me.

thanks guys.. I'll update at the first shed.

I was surprised to see hypos in there and surprised not to see 1000% of the clutch being motleys because the 1st male I put her with the female was an anery-motley.

But being a young male I wasn't sure he'd do is job so 6 weeks after I dropped another male with the female.

And it turns out I'm prooving het hypo on this male, so it's pretty cool, but this outcome was a total surprise for me.
