my 3rd/lastest addition

my bestest addiction!
so I just got this girl and all the stuff she had, this morning, for free!
the guy just didn't have the time to spend with her that she needs and wanted her to go to a good home...she has now.

she weighs in at 278g, and appears to be healthy.
she should be fed adult mice correct? Rodentpro's 20-29g adults? will one every 2 weeks be enough? or sooner?
thanks for input!!

cell phone pic, hopefully comes out good.

I dunno about others, but we feed our grown girl 1x/wk. She takes a normal sized adult f/t mouse, although upon occasion she'll eat two if someone else refuses their meal and it's her turn for the extra treat :).

It really depends on how fast you want her to grow. Snakes are quite capable of going long periods of time without much food while remaining quite healthy. Usually people stick to the Munson plan, but it's really up to you. It's a good plan for hatchlings, but after they've reached a certain weight, you don't really have to feed them that often unless they're breeders. Definitely adult mice, though. Congrats on getting such a pretty snake for free!

I want a slow grower, it surprised me to see her this big...the guy said she was around a year old...I'm thinking she's around 2 years.
she is very friendly, the guy said she was skiddish, not at all we me, the wife and my son.
she ate on Wednesday, so I'll wait and feed her on Sunday next week.

I think I have the wife convinced it is her corn snake! (she was afraid to hold her at first, now she cant wait to get her out again!)
